NHS flu scare

This winter has been forecast to be colder then last year, with November round the corner, BBC Weather has said that people should expect cold, quiet, grey and damp conditions.

The NHS predicts the rise of flu germs going around, Lincolnshire clinics are advising people to get a flu jab. Senior people are advised to get their jabs first.

The NHS information centre revealed that there have been 33,376 people taking up their beds in Hospital with the flu since April of this year. Compared to 2008 where there were only 4,163 sick people with the flu for that year.

The mass public health campaign are still going strong with their Catch it, Kill it, Bin it message and there will be more adverts on television and posters around to remind people of this important message.
