CITY VIBE: Free education initiative in Lincoln

A third year university student has responded to the rise in student fees by turning his house into a free college.

Paul Stewart is a third year fine art student at the University of Lincoln.

He explains the reason behind his idea.

Dr Mary O’Neill is a fine arts lecturer at the University of Lincoln and presented the first lecture at the free college. She believes this is a interesting idea and one that is needed.

Paul Stewart said that he has received great support from the university and has got applications from around 40 people who are interested. The idea has only been around for a week and Paul is surprised by how well it has taken off.
