Lego and gizmos were on the agenda for the University of Lincolns Computer society last Sunday as they held a Robo jam.

The event saw students of different background come together and learn to programme and build robots.

‘Anyone could join if you didn’t have a background in programming’ said Peter Anderson the society president.

The equipment in question, the Lego NXTs include programmable bricks in which you can add Lego pieces onto.

Peter felt the event was a success. ‘We had a good weekend all round, everyone had fun and were going to be doing it again in March but we’ll be doing it around the clock.’
