Demolition starts on Lincoln bus station

Demolition work on Lincoln’s bus station got underway this week.

Councillors and members of the media gathered to witness the most recent stage of the city’s major transport revamp.
The city’s £30 million Transport Hub scheme, led by the City of Lincoln Council, will provide a brand new state-of-the-art bus station, as well as a 1000-space multi-storey car park, a new pedestrian plaza and more retail space.
The Hub is expected to be ready for opening by January 2018.
