With the festive period well underway Lincolnshire Police are cracking down on drink drivers. This is an annual campaign, highlighting the dangers of driving with excess alcohol.
We are halfway through the month, and twenty one arrests have already been made for drink driving offences. These offenders are now named online.
The partnership want to highlight the consequences of drink driving, and how life changing they can be.
John Siddle, from the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership said; ”Even if it does cost a little bit more for a taxi, or having a nominated driver then please do that. It could be just something slight like losing your licence, and that is only the low end of the offence.”
