Peter Salmon, Director of BBC North spoke to LSJ News during a visit to the University of Lincoln. Salmon spoke to a packed EMMTEC theatre about the vision for BBC North, due to open in Salford in May of next year. He described the enormous task of moving the thousands of people needed to work at the Salford site away from London, and stressed the need for the BBC to find new talent in the north.
