Q: What’s your favourite thing about living in Lincoln?

A: The range of hospitality and restaurants there are to explore. We have so many coffee shops and small places to visit. The Bailgate area especially is lovely as there is so much history and heritage to discover which makes that part of Lincoln feel like a really cosy place.

Q: What’s your favourite place to go in Lincoln? And why?

A: Unbiasedly, one of my favourite places is The Drill. I love live music myself and we always host some great gigs there with the best atmosphere. Since taking it over a year ago I have ensured that my whole team are all big lovers of live music – festival-goers and people like that. I think it really shines through in their work.

Q: What would be your perfect weekend in Lincoln?

A: Definitely a walk around somewhere nice, maybe around Nettleham Village and stopping for a nice coffee and a cake. I like weekends as chilled as they can get, maybe I would take my dog with me and go for a pub tea or take them for a walk.

Q: If you could change one thing about Lincoln, what would it be?

A: I would make sure that there’s much more parking places available. Specifically free parking around the city to make it more accessible for people that don’t live close to the centre.
