A new parking system has started in Lincoln called Parkonomy, the City of Lincoln Council are the first authority to use the system.

Parkonomy is an innovative technology designed to remove the problem of buying a ticket on the day and looking for a car parking space a thing of the past.

It allows you to complete a booking beforehand from any internet device but if all of  spaces are filled, the system switches off.

The two car parks that are on offer to use are the Lucy Tower Street Car Park and Silver Street, offering 433 spaces and 101 spaces.

LSJ News Spoke to the sales manager for Parkonomy, David Coates.
