More than £3,000 has been raised for disabled animals following a spooktacular Halloween dog walk, organisers have revealed.
Pumpkin and Friends is a Lincoln charity that supports pets in regaining mobility and freedom after accidents or surgery.
For Halloween, it hosted a ghostastic dog walk through the city’s High Street featuring dozens of canines dressed up in costumes. Among the highlights were light-up wheelchairs, ghostly dog-coats, witch wigs and plenty of wagging tails.
Tammie Fox, co-owner of Pumpkin and Friends, said: “It was incredibly well-attended, raised vital funds and created so many smiles.”
She added: “We’ve also supported some wonderfully unexpected friends too, including rabbits, a duck, a pig, a goat and a few sheep.”

The charity – which is based in Firth Road – was set up in June 2022 to provide help with veterinary funding, emotional-support and equipment for animals such as wheelchairs, harnesses and strollers. It says it has since assisted more than 4,000 pets.
