The FA have launched a series of workshops labelled as “Equal Game Workshops”, aimed to help the development of women and girls’ football at grassroots level.
Kirsty Dixon Head of the Women and Girls Pathway at the Lincolnshire FA said, “We have delivered a series of workshops as a County FA and they have all been received well.
“It is an opportunity for clubs to develop the women’s game or for clubs who want to start a female pathway have all the help and support they need.”

Once known as “Let Girls Play” which was to ensure there was equal access to football in schools, has now been rebranded into “Made for This Game”.
They believed after the success of the Lionesses back-to-back victory it showed women and girls are Made for This Game and it isn’t a question of Let Them Play anymore.
The rebrand is set to tackle the next level of challenges focusing on full equality and participation within the game with the help of these workshops.

Kirsty also added, “As a County FA we have an equal games ambassador who a member of staff deployed to work with different clubs across Lincolnshire to teach them about the equal game initiative and support them with any needs they might have, due to the success of this we are aiming to get another ambassador to help reach more clubs.”
The workshops are free to attend and are online they highlight different important aspects into women’s football from facilities and finance to female health.
