A local community group wants Lincoln to become a dementia friendly city.
Dementia Friends, a volunteer-led group supported by the Alzheimers Society, is aiming to raise awareness about dementia and dispel myths through workshops and seminars.
People can become certified ‘dementia champions’ by volunteering for the group and taking on their own workshops.
Aysha Bellamy, a dementia champion from Lincoln, spoke to us about to the initiative.
