Lincoln prepares a for cuteness overload as puppy yoga sets down in its Cornhill market.

This will be taking place on the 28th of February and will consist of cuddles from 11 bernedoodles.

The event is run by Pawfect Pooch Therapy which is a franchise of Pooch therapy, an events organisation that provide unique and heart-warming sessions all around the country.

To answer the question of what is puppy yoga? We spoke to Naomi Warrington, the organiser of this event, she said: “Puppy yoga is exactly what it sounds like. We go through gentle yoga stretches and exercises whilst a litter of puppies run around freely, it’s as much fun as it sounds.”

“The focus isn’t on perfecting yoga skills; it’s more about creating a calming and fun environment where you can unwind and play with cute puppies.”

She went on to say that they see a real mix of people at their events, she said: “We have families who come along for a fun day out, but we also get students and professionals who are looking to forget about their stress for an hour or so.”

Pooch Therapy events vary from the Cornhill market all the way to celebrities’ dressing rooms – curling up with famous faces like Tate McRae, Olivia Rodrigo and Raye.

At the core of their events is a dual mission, to help both puppies and participants embrace the benefits.

It is scientifically proven that interacting with dogs can lower cortisol in minutes, so surely puppies falling asleep on you will replace anxiety with ease.
