Light up a Life with a torchlight procession

People of Lincoln are being invited to remember a loved one in a torchlight procession, organised by St Barnabas.

The candles will be lit at a service held before the procession at 6:15pm.

During the annual service the candles will be handed over to the procession to light the torches, before they set off at 7:30pm from Claytons sports ground on Lee road.

The procession will pass the St. Barnabas hospice in Lincoln before finishing on the west side of the Cathedral.

Once at the Cathedral the tree of life will be lit and short celebratory service will be held. Anyone is welcome to attend the event.

The event is not just in Lincoln it will also be available at the other following dates:

Skegness – Thursday 4th December, 6.30pm

Sutton on Sea – Sunday 7th December, 3pm

Spalding – Sunday 7th December, 4pm.

Louth – Monday 8th December, 6pm.

Sleaford – Monday 8th December, 6.30pm.

Grantham – Tuesday 9th December, 6pm.

Boston – Friday 12th December, 6.30pm.
