The Whites won convincingly, with a 6-0 victory against Spalding Women.
After a difficult season which saw Lincoln Women lose every league game, the Whites ended the season on a high with a 6-0 cup-final win against Spalding United Women.
An impressive performance from the whole team saw Lincoln Women ahead 3-0 at half-time – with the player-of-the-match Amanda Millar completing her hat-trick in the second-half to make it six.

Despite the impressive performance on the day from Lincoln Women, their domestic success didn’t completely reflect their league campaign.
After the first season as “Lincoln Women” – a merge between Lincoln United and Lincoln City’ squads, the Whites struggled across the course of the 2025-26 campaign and failed to pick up a single point.
However, manager Tom Padden saw the game as a fresh start as opposed to a good ending to a difficult season.

“Today is day one of next season, not the end of this one. The high work-rate starts now, and we have time to get to know the players and for them to get to know me.”
He felt as though the future was bright for his team. Padden said: “There have been adversities this season, but this group isn’t far away from being a really competitive squad. We’ve seen it today, they can mix it and they can play really good football.”
Lincoln Women are looking to build on their success ahead of the 2026-2027 season.
