Children in Lincolnshire were treated to an October half-term hockey camp, put on by Hurricane Sports Foundation at Lindum Hockey Club in Lincoln.
Around 80 children of all hockey abilities from across the county attended the event, and were able to take part in all sorts of activities, with the day ending in a tournament with the chance to win prizes.
Hurricane Sports Foundation is a UK based charity, which aims to get more people, of all ages, outdoors and active in sport.
The charity aims to deliver sport, physical activity, exercise and education to the local community, with a focus on inspiring communities and changing lives through the use of sport, physical activity, exercise and education as tools of engagement.
Hockey is not just the only sport that Hurricane Sports delivers, with sessions in Dodge ball and a jogging club just a couple of other activities that they offer.
The charity also goes into schools across the East Midlands to offer sporting sessions to children to try and get them active in sport and physical health.
The hockey camp put on at Lindum Hockey Club is just a flavour of the work that Hurricane Sports Foundation does in the community.
