Two Red Arrows pilots have described practicing death-defying aerobatics over Niagara Falls during a talk at the Lincoln City Foundation’s Extra Time Hub.
Dustin Wales and Chris McCann are positioned four and five in the world famous display team respectively.
They spoke to at the hub – which offers over 55’s the chance to socialise every Wednesday – about their experiences with the squad.
“Niagara Falls was a good one, we did a flyover eight or nine times which gave us some good shots,” said McCann.
The pair revealed that the Red Arrows had performed in 57 different countries during the course of their history.
Wales added: “It’s always nice to get out into the community for events like this, its not often that we get to do it when we’re flying three times a day.”

The Extra-Time Hub takes place every Wednesday and gives the local residents aged over 65 the chance to get together and socialise with refreshments also provided.
In the past, it has also received visits from Lincoln City midfielder Erik Ring.
Alice Carter, head of healthier communities at the foundation, said: “It’s a unique opportunity for them (the wider community) and I think it means more, living in Lincoln.
“Getting that insight into what it’s like, is something that uniquely we can offer them and it’s a good chance for them to connect a bit more with the city.”
