A great-grandmother who was described as the “most perfect woman” has died following a four-vehicle road crash.
Pauline James, 79, was among two people who passed away following the smash on the A157 close to Gayton-Le-Wold and Grimblethorpe on March 15. The other has not yet been named by police.
Ms James was described as a gifted figure skater by her family in a statement released by Lincolnshire Police on Tuesday.
They said: “She was deeply adored and treasured by all who were lucky enough to meet her. She wasn’t just anyone, she was our world.”
Pauline’s family also referred to her success in building her own business but said: “Her greatest and proudest achievement was the family that she raised and nurtured.
“She meant everything and more to us and every day will feel empty without her. The most perfect woman who wasn’t ready to leave this world.”
Lincolnshire police are carrying ongoing investigations into the circumstances of the collision.
