Bonfire night is today and Lincoln is having various events across the city to celebrate.
The Lincolnshire Showground are staging their annual event which will take place on Friday, November 6. There is plenty of things to do to keep families entertained, such as children’s entertainment, side shows and stalls, rides, food stalls and a giant fun fair.
Lindum Hockey’s club will host their annual fireworks night. A bar will be open as well as a hog roast The event will take on Sunday, November 8 at the Lindum Sport Association.
There will be bonfire celebrations and a display at Greelands Outdoor Centre. The event is being hosted by the 28th Lincoln Scout Group and will be on Saturday, November 7.
The Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue have recommended people should attend organised displays instead of celebrating at home this bonfire night. They have also warned people about the dangers of sparklers too.
