Lincolnshire County Council is considering placing CCTV cameras near schools in order to monitor bad parking.
It is hoped that the temporary cameras will catch instances of people stopping on zig zag lines or on pavements around school pick up times.
Executive Councillor for Highways and Transport, Richard Davies said: “We know there is a problem outside some schools, where some parents and carers park inconsiderately while dropping their children off.”
The Council estimates to have £100,000 surplus to spend on parking provisions this year and hopes this scheme will help catch repeat offenders.
