Stay safe, stay legal and be seen! That’s what Lincolnshire Police are telling cyclists.
As the nights get darker, cyclists are being warned to stay safe on the roads.
The campaign called the Night Rider is aimed to keep people safe at this time of the year.
Lincolnshire Police are urging people to wear bright clothing, have lights on their bikes and reflectors.
The project was released on the ‘Lincs Road Policing’ twitter feed along with a poster of the scheme.
Cyclists are vulnerable to danger and therefore, something needs to be done to tackle the risk of accidents.
John Siddle, communications manager for the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership, says it is important for cyclists to be seen.
