Imps hope to arrest slip at Plainmoor

Looking ahead to tomorrow’s match away to Torquay, Lincoln City will be hoping to return to winning ways after a poor run of form.

Manager Steve Tilson believes that they could take something away from the game if they play like they did against Port Vale in the first half on Tuesday.

A win for the Imps would leave them 1 point away from a 50 point target set by Tilson. So the manager will be hoping that new face Elliott Parish will have better luck after conceding eight goals in two games.

The Aston Villa loanee is eager to put the loses behind him for tomorrow’s game.

With keeper Joe Anyon’s month long loan with Morecambe coming to an end after their game against Rotherham tomorrow, Tilson says he will not be guaranteed a place in the team

The Imps have been hit with a number of injuries recently and will be hoping for Ashley Grimes to play after he made a return to training yesterday.

Tilson believes Grimes return will give the team the confidence they need if he plays.
