Comic Relief is celebrating its 25th anniversary and Lincoln has also caught the fundraising spirit.

First off, we have Craig and Mike from Endeavor Radio who are raising money for Comic Relief next Thursday by riding their bikes for Lincoln to Boston Stump.  They have raised almost £500.

In addition, BBC Lincolnshire and BBC Humberside have teamed up to do another ‘Stand up if you Dare’ gig. This time it involves members of the public braving the stage to do a stand up routine. The event will be hosted by Radio Lincolnshire’s Melvyn Prior and comedian Alfie Moore.

Finally three members of the  Lincoln Ladies football team have died their hair red after raising double their target for comic relief. Rachel Collier, who is in charge of the sponsoring team hopes she can dye more of the team’s hair if they raise £750.
