The Lincolnshire Drink Drive Campaign has begun.
So far seven people have been arrested since the campaign started six days ago.
John Siddle, the Communications Manager for the Lincolnshire road Safety Partnership confirmed that this year there have been two deaths related to drink driving and 69 people have had serious injuries.
During this festive period it is recommended that if you feel unfit to drive you should find an alternative way to travel.
Lincolnshire Police stopped around 100 cars in one hour on Skellingthorpe Road. Although 20 were tested, none had tested positive.
