One of the great things in life is celebrating people’s achievements. This photo is of Neil Cutts who ran the London marathon in aid of cancer charity Sarcoma. Aged 50 this is Neil greeting his wife Ellen at one of the checkpoints. The support which he received from others was ‘’A huge motivation for me to continue on and finish the marathon’’ Neil said. The facial expressions of both people in this photo just show the pure love and happiness they have for one another and the joy of celebrating Neil’s achievement.
Last week the UK got a visit from an unfamiliar sight. The northern lights were visible for a short two night period and gave us some breath-taking photos. This was a very good reason to be cheerful as it's not something that is seen often and has saved a lot of people a lot of money on a trip to Iceland!
This photo is of the John Lennon memorial wall in Prague, Czech Republic. Lennon is universally loved and often advocated for love and happiness. He famously said ‘’ Love is the flower you've got to let grow. Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted. We've got this gift of love, but love is like a precious plant’’. This wall perfectly encapsulates the fact that we should ignore all the doom and gloom in the world and focus on the positive and wondrous things in life.
In England we don't get much sunshine so when it arrives its important to make it count. This is Ivy, she spent her bank holiday weekend on the Beach in Anglesey and loved her time there! Animals can bring such happiness into peoples lives and so its important to treasure all the moments with them.
