Coca-cola has announced that they are venturing into a new recycling plant in Lincolnshire with recycling giant ECO Plastics.
The new plant in Gainsborough will double the amount of plastic bottles recycled in the UK every year to more than 75,000 tones.
CityVibe’s Lauren Lewis has been investigating into why recycling is so cost effective for businesses in Lincoln. She spoke to James Allen, Production Manager at Urban Recycling ltd in Lincoln; and Jonathan Short, the Managing Director of ECO Plastics, who explained how the news recycling plant in Gainsborough, will benefit the whole of the UK.
