In the current unstable economic climate, art is expected to suffer in the future.

LSJ News spoke to the Visual Art Co-ordinator at ‘The Collection’ in Lincoln, who says that future cuts could be devasting.

This week was the launch of local artist Martin Griffiths, who has created a collection entitled ‘First Light’ which consists of light sculpture installations.

The Lincolnshire artist based his work on the idea of using natural light and the idea of the viewer interpretting their own perception in the piece of art.

LSJ News’ Fiona McConnachie went to the exhibiton.
