Three apprenticeships in stonemasonry, lead work and joinery are being offered at Lincoln Cathedral.

The specialist skills placements are being funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, in a scheme called Skills for the Future.

Trainees will learn their new skills while working on Lincoln Cathedral and surrounding buildings.

CityVibes Lauren Lewis spoke to Lincoln Cathedrals Works Manager Carol Heidschuster who stressed how important it is to pass on these specialist skills.
