Hollywood came to Woodhall’s Kinema in the Woods this past Friday, with a special screening of new horror flick the Cabin in the Woods. As well as hosting a special screening for competition winners from all over the country, there was a special Q & A with the director and star of the film. Drew Goddard director and Jesse Williams star of the movie brought a bit of Hollywood glitz to the occasion, the biggest The Kinema has ever seen.
As the Kinema is in the woods, the distributors Lionsgate thought it would be the perfect place to showcase the new horror film, three weeks before its general release date.
The event at the Kinema sold out rapidly with the announcement of the two Hollywood guests. There was a lot of excitement surrounding the event with many people tweeting and talking about the event on Facebook.
City Vibe’s Michaela Soltys spoke to The Kinema‘s manger Philip Jones about the screening and how it was a very exciting event for the Kinema
