A hike in Lincoln’s parking prices could be approved tonight in the same council meeting which will agree a near 2% rise in council tax rates.
The rise of 10p per hour will bring the price of an hour’s parking in Lucy Tower up to £1.60.
It currently costs £2 to park a motorcycle for a full day.
Councillors argue that the rise means visitors from outside the city are still contributing to the local economy.
