The Lincolnshire Sports Partnership and Waterways Project have applied for £1 million to improve water sports in the area.
Dave Carter, from the LSP, says that the bid is half way through completion.
If they are successful, Lincolnshire residents can expect to see vast improvements to water areas in the county.
“There will be pubs and hotels by the side of [them]”, Mr Carter explains, “and we’re working on linking cycle ways as well”.
