Basketball originated in America and has gradually but surely worked its way across the world. Not quite as popular as the traditional British sports such as football or rugby, it still requires the same amount of fitness and talent and is just as competitive.

 Now competing to become one of the world’s most popular sports,Victoria McNichol looks at how popular the sport has become. She spoke to Chad Palmer, who plays Point Guard for the Lincoln Lakers; he tells us how it’s moved from America, to over here.
