Lincolnshire Police Volunteers are hosting drop in sessions across Lincoln.
The volunteers are hoping to bridge the gap between students at the University of Lincoln and Lincolnshire Police.
After applying to become volunteers before Christmas, students from the University have been trained by the police and are now running drop in centres across the city where residents can report problems.
The volunteers can then report these issues to the police who can take action.
LSJ News went down to one of these sessions to find out more about volunteering with Lincolnshire Police.
