Photographing Tutankhamun at The Collection Museum in Lincoln, is celebrating the 95th anniversary of the discovery of the world-famous Pharaoh’s tomb.
The display of images, taken by Lincolnshire photographer, Harry Burton, who was born in Stamford in 1879, before moving to Italy and finding photography success there.
The images on show to the public highlights the treasures that were found inside the tomb of Tutankhamun.
Dr Christina Riggs, an art history reader from the University of East Anglia, has spent many years gathering images from two archives, one in Oxford and one in New York, to reach the final collection you can see today.
Photos in the exhibition include a golden mask, images inside the tomb as well as a mummies head.

Photographing Tutankhamun will be open to the public at The Collection Museum until January 28th.
