Getting first team football is the most valuable thing for a younger player to get, said on loan Gainsborough Trinity forward, Curtis Bateson.

Bateson has been on loan with Gainsborough since August after joining from Scunthorpe United, and has found himself in the starting line-up for a majority of his time at the Northolme.
It’s an opportunity he has been relishing.
He said: “The whole point of the loan is to go out there and get some game time. It’s a good standard below the conference, so it is a good test for me.
“I’m only young so I’ve got a lot to learn and at Gainsborough I think I can do that. I have learnt a lot that I wouldn’t have, had I just been sat on the bench. It’s a good chance for me.”
Bateson has scored twice for the Conference North side and hopes to continue on his impressive performances.
