The International Bomber Command Centre (IBCC) in Lincoln is holding a formal remembrance service on Sunday.
The day will allow people to commemorate those in Lincolnshire who have lost their lives in battle.
Remembrance Day marks the day World War One ended on November 11th 1918.
Every year a two minute silence is held at 11am to remember all the people who have died in wars, not just World War One.
There are fifty-eight thousand boys who have never been memorialised properly and the IBCC is the only place where this can happen.
On the day, people will be asked to donate their old one pound coins so the centre can make a runway of gold to represent the boys coming home.
Nicky Barr, Director of IBCC said: “For a lot of families the IBCC has given them the first opportunity to actually come and mark a particular name. What we are finding is that it may be 70 years on but it’s still important for them and they get a lot of comfort out of it.”
