A man from Lincoln is walking 100 miles to Stevenage to raise money for a charity in Thailand.
Jordan Dutt, 18, is working with Future Sense Foundation, an international development charity that works to better the lives of disadvantaged people living abroad.
In June, he will spend three weeks in Thailand to volunteer in the Elephant Sanctuary and with the local hill tribes.
Mr Dutt, a University of Lincoln student, plans to walk 100 miles from Lincoln to his hometown of Stevenage, to raise money for his volunteer work.
The route will begin on April 14th, in Lincoln with rest stops in Peterborough and St Neots, ending in Stevenage on April 17th.
Mr Dutt needs to raise £1,750 before he begins his volunteer work in Thailand, which does not include his flights or personal costs.
He has raised £551 of his target so far with 12 weeks left to raise the remaining outstanding total.
In 2018, Mr Dutt accepted the Pride of Stevenage Caring Award for his acts of kindness, charity work and being a keen community fundraiser.
