The annual Lincoln Christmas light switch on November 22 will see shops stay open until 8pm on set dates throughout the run up to Christmas.

The dates that Lincoln City Centre will be open late have been announced on the Visit Lincoln website: https://www.visitlincoln.com/blog/christmas-shopping-free-parking-2019

Opening hours of shops are subject to change.

Parking will also be free on those dates every Friday from 4.30pm until 9:00pm Friday December 20.

Whilst out shopping, why not pay a visit to Thor’s Tipi Bar in Lincoln City Centre? Offering a range of festive food and drink for visitors, after an afternoon of Christmas shopping.

The usual markets in Lincoln will be running throughout November and December as normal, in the run up to Lincoln Christmas Market on Thursday December 5 to December 8.

If you can’t wait for the Christmas Market, handmade and unique gifts will be available at the Makers Market which will next be in Lincoln on November 23 and the Antiques Market on November 24.

Lincolnshire’s Annual Food and Gift fair, now in its 19th year, will also be taking place at the end of the month from November 30 to December 1.

The Fair will include handmade gifts and a wide range of local food and drink for all the family.
