Lincoln City’s Nathan Arnold has been praised for his commitment to the team as he takes his days off to analyse old matches.

The 29-year-old has been watching games back and giving the Lincoln City coaching staff feedback.

Arnold has been influential for Lincoln recently, scoring two goals in their latest draw in the Vanarama National League against Aldershot Town.

The former Grimsby Town’s brace has put him second in the Imp’s goal scoring tables this season, only three goals behind leader Matt Rhead.

Rhead scored the equaliser against Aldershot, six minutes into injury time at the end of the match, increasing his tally to 10 for the season.

The young winger has not only been praised for his work ethic off the pitch and offensive ability, he has also been applauded for his defensive work as well by Lincoln City manager Danny Cowley.

Arnold had to come off during the second half of the three all draw after feeling unwell, though he is expected to return for this weekend’s game against Forest Green Rovers.

Lincoln are currently sitting second in the league, six points behind leaders Forest Green with a game in hand, and have gone ten games unbeaten.

Forest Green have been on an unbeaten run of their own, winning four out of their last five games.
