The University of Lincoln’s rowing club held their annual 24-hour rowing marathon earlier this week.

The event took place outside the engine shed from midday Wednesday until midday thursday and saw around 30 of members from the rowing club taking turns on a rowing machine, in 30 minute stints in order to raise money for a new boat for the club. The club aims to raise around £1000 for this.

Carmen Shillam spoke to James Sexton-Barrow about the rowing marathon.
