On Saturday, Lincoln United announced the appointment of Steve Housham as their new manager.

The former Gainsborough Trinity man is set to take charge at end of the current season and will bring a significant level of experience, having also managed teams such as North Ferriby United and enjoyed a playing career which included a spell at Scunthorpe.

Captain Sean Wright will continue as caretaker manager until the end of the season, with centre-back Michael Jacklin his assistant.

LSJ News reporter Matthew Williams spoke to club chairman Rob Bradley about what Housham will bring to the role.
