Nettleham Ladies will face Lincoln Moorlands-Railway in the final of the County Women’s Cup on April 14.

This final mirrors that of the tournament two years ago. In 2017, the Netts beat Moorlands 2-3 in Nettleham. In 2018 when the teams met, Nettleham won 4-0 in the quarter-final.

The Netts have won the competition for the past five years and haven’t struggled to reach the final this season. They beat Boston United 4-1 in January and Grimsby Borough 5-0 last month.

Moorlands’ journey began with a 12-1 victory over Louth Old Boys in November. They’ve since beaten HBW United 2-0 and Hykeham Town 3-1.

With the two teams literally leagues apart, it could be assumed that Nettleham will easily take the title for the sixth year running.

The final will take place at Ashby Avenue, Lincoln at 3pm.
