Ole’s At The Wheel – But Will He Succeed?

With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer being named as the permanent manager of Manchester United until the summer of 2022, the question still remains whether he is able to keep on turning the club’s fortunes around.

Since being appointed in December 2018, as a result of Jose Mourinho’s departure, the ‘Baby Faced Assassin’ has been able to revive their season, with the team now battling for a top four spot as well as being in the quarter finals of the Champions League after a heroic performance in Paris.

Appointing club legends can be a risky business however, with plenty of past examples proving that a good playing career doesn’t always result in a good managerial performance. LSJ News takes a look at a variety of players who took on the role of manager at the teams where they are deemed legends:
