Broadgate remains closed for investigation following a serious collision.

Pedestrian dies in collision with a van in Lincoln

A man has died in road traffic accident in the centre of Lincoln.

Lincolnshire Police say the 54 year old was in collision with a van on Broadgate.

The road remains closed for investigation but police hope it will reopen before the rush hour.

Traffic is being diverted along Silver Street and police are urging people to avoid the area.

Lincolnshire Police are asking for witnesses and for any dashcam footage taken in the area.
