Lincolnshire’s very own festival of the arts is recruiting young people to take part in a special new scheme.

SO Festival showcases the arts across the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, making appearances in Horncastle, Louth, Alford, Woodhall Spa, Mablethorpe, Spilsby and Skegness for 2015.

The festival is on the hunt for 10 Young Arts Ambassadors to work as volunteers alongside the promotion and audience development team, making it a great opportunity for young people seeking further experience in the industry.

The scheme also includes free Bespoke training, with keen and enthusiastic ambassadors qualifying for nationwide training.

Sara Bullimore, SO Festival Ambassador Co-ordinator said: “We’re looking for 10 people between the ages of 16 and 25, and all we need is for them to have 15 days free between now and July when the festival takes place.”
