The Lincolnshire Show will return in its conventional form in 2022 after two years of COVID postponements.

Following a tumultuous two years, The Lincolnshire Show is finally able to return. After a promising virtual event in 2020, and a cancelled show in 2021 due to Boris Johnson’s road-map confusion – the county of Lincoln has something to be excited about this year.

Although they are now in an impressive 137th year, the classic format remains the same. Visitors will be able to explore six different zones including Main Ring and Aviation, Education Zone, Lincolnshire Kitchen and Food Court, Trade Exhibitors, Agriculture Zone and Countryside and Heritage Area.

On returning, the Showground said: “We are really excited for the Lincolnshire Show to return after two-years off due to Covid. In 2020 we did put on a virtual Show which was a massive success, but nothing compares to the real thing! We are seeing lots of exhibitors sign up and tickets are selling well so far.”

The show will be held on 22nd & 23rd of June this year, running from 8-6pm. Once again organised by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, who are a charity that provide educational farming and countryside work.

All profits from the Lincolnshire Show will go towards their charity work, engaging over 13,000 children a year.

VisitLincoln, who support the Show’s creation said: “The Lincolnshire Show brings a whole host of benefits to the city of Lincoln and has done for many years. With thousands of people visiting the show it is a great place to showcase a business to a large local audience. In previous years we have seen over £3 million spend in the county in alone.  We hope bringing people to Lincolnshire for the event helps other businesses in the area such as hotels, restaurants, and shops.”

Like previous years, he A15 from the A46 Lincoln Bypass to the A631 at Caenby Corner is closed to all but Show traffic. Advanced tickets are priced at £23.65 for adults and £7.53 for children (aged 5-16), while a family ticket (two adults & three children) can be purchased for £57 – buy your tickets here.
