This month Lincolnshire is being celebrated at the Discover Lincolnshire weekend on 28-29th March, with free entry to many landmarks and museums, free food and drink on offer, and historical tours and talks available for everyone to enjoy

The Cranwell Aviation Museum and the Lincoln cathedral are offering free entry and free events, Dobson’s Mill is offering free drinks and the Lincoln open-top sightseeing bus is giving free rides from Minster Yard to tour the city. Also, the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park is offering half price tickets all weekend when quoting “Discover Lincolnshire”

There are many more events happening and some require signing up in advance, such as talks for the 35th anniversary of the Friends of Lincoln Castle which includes guided tours of the castle and a Victorian prison, as well as specialist talks on castle history.
