Two new temporary construction bridges have been installed and opened on the Lincoln Eastern Bypass.
The bridges have opened over the rail line at Market Rasen and over the River Witham in Lincoln.
Over 41-metres of the bridge at Market Rasen is being used for construction traffic, reducing the amount of time it takes to get there.
Lincolnshire County Council hope that the bridges will reduce the amount of traffic on the roads in the county.
Previously, the council have constructed a bridge in Greetwell which will be in use until May 2020.
£50 million was funded from the government to construct the Lincoln Eastern Bypass in order to reduce the amount of traffic on the roads in Lincolnshire.
The bypass is set to be complete and open by May 2020.
