Volunteers who feed Lincoln’s rough sleepers meet with council

A volunteer group that feed the city’s rough sleepers are now liaising with the City of Lincoln Council on a monthly basis.

Let Them Eat Cake, which was founded in 2017 by tattoo artist Drew Potts, has become a lifeline for those who have not benefitted from traditional channels of support.

Mr Potts said: “We will always remain independent, non-political, non-religious, and not for profit, but we will now be working with the council as advisors.

“We will be having monthly meetings to discuss more ways to support our city’s rough sleepers.”

LSJ News caught up with the volunteers on Thursday evening to learn more about what they do:
