The bad weather shows no sign of abating with the threat of more snow and low temperatures forecast for another week.

On Saturday, an elderly man was found dead by security staff at the Thorpe Park caravan park in Cleethorpes, it is thought that he may have been attempting to leave the park to go to his home in Doncaster.
The bad weather is also bringing out the best in some people, as friends and neighbours work together to keep their communities running, random acts of kindness are sweetening the run up to Christmas, especially for one dog owner, when her puppy was rescued from an iced over pond.
