Breakthrough Breast Cancer Month is celebrated every year in October and this year was no exception. Even though we’re now in November, fundraising is still ongoing for the charity.
Every year, high street store Warehouse fundraises for the charity and this year the stores in Lincoln wanted to try something a little bit different. Staff from the two franchises in Debenhams and House of Fraser pulled together and set up a vintage fashion stall on Tuesday evening in Kind Bar.
Raising around £600 in total, the event was obviously a success. Carmen Shillam spoke to Ellie Ransom, a part-time sales assistant at the House of Fraser Warehouse, about Breakthrough Breast Cancer Month and why it’s so important even after October.
